Edinburgh Summer School 2024

New Food Experiences with New Friends

Food brings people together and is just one of the fun experiences to look forward to, when you come to Edinburgh this summer.

Join us for a summer to remember!

Students are encouraged to embrace our beautiful and historic city and its culture by taking part in a variety of educational activities and field trips included as part of the programme.

In your free time however, you might want to take a city tours where you can explore Edinburgh’s most popular attractions (as well as it's hidden gems!) or if you’re feeling brave, venture to the spooky side of town with one of the city’s popular ghost tours…

For those with a sweet tooth, why not go out and enjoy an afternoon tea or, for a truly Scottish experience get yer kilt on and go to a Ceilidh – a traditional gathering filled with Scottish music, bagpipes and dancing!

Edinburgh’s foodie scene is thriving, with a healthy mixture of Michelin-starred restaurants, upmarket dining rooms, trendy cafes, street food and farmer’s markets.

A new addition to Edinburgh that you won’t want to miss is Edinburgh Street Food – it hosts ten permanent kitchens, with additional quirky vans, trucks and stalls popping up outside – a taste of global flavours and textures!

Bonnie and Wild is also relatively new on the scene - a Scottish Marketplace in the new St James’ Quarter, home to some of Scotland's best chefs, independent restaurants and street food kitchens.

And don’t forget, you’ll be enjoying all of this with new friends from all over the world and making memories to last a lifetime.
