Former COL Student Wins Scottish Jazz Award!

Former COL student triumphs at Scottish Jazz Awards 2017

Former COL student, Fraser Urquhart, has won the coveted Rising Star Award at the Scottish Jazz Awards 2017. The Scottish Jazz Awards, held in Glasgow as part of the Glasgow Jazz Festival, are now in their fifth year.

Fraser Urquhart studied at COL on the Credit for Entry programme at the Centre for Open Learning before obtaining his place on a music degree at the University of Edinburgh. We interviewed Fraser before the ceremony about his time at COL - you can read all about it on our website.
