Location

Our ADOS courses run at various locations. Participants with accepted places will be kept up to date with the exact course location and corresponding accessibility information. Courses may run at Kennedy Tower, a University of Edinburgh building next to the Royal Edinburgh Hospital site in Morningside.

On arrival at Kennedy Tower, please ring the buzzer next to the glass front entrance.  The receptionist will ask you to sign in each day and then send you up to the correct floor.

The rooms we are using are all accessible by lift. There are toilets on the 6th floor and an accessible toilet on the 2nd floor.

Follow this link for more detailed access information.

Public Transport and On Foot

Kennedy Tower is a five minute walk from the bus stop outside Marks & Spencer on Morningside Road. This stop is served from the North and South by bus routes 5, 11, 15, 16, 23, 36, 101 and 102.

With Marks & Spencer on your right hand side, turn down Morningside Park and follow this road for about 300 metres. Take the first left, marked Morningside Terrace. Continue straight on and through the entrance to the Royal Edinburgh Hospital site. Kennedy Tower is just inside the site entrance on the right hand side. It is an eight-storey white building and hard to miss.

Driving and Parking

We recommend using public transport / park and ride as local parking is difficult for a full day.

If you have a Sat Nav, the postcode for the building you’re visiting is EH10 5HF. Your SatNav should bring you to the entrance of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital site, just off Morningside Park. You can park for free within the site if you can find a space or use on-street parking in the surrounding area (see below).

If you don’t have Sat Nav, Kennedy Tower is in the Morningside area of Edinburgh. It is accessible by turning off Morningside Road (the A702) at Morningside Park just next to Marks & Spencer. Click here to see a map.

Parking is available on Morningside Park, Morningside Terrace, Millar Crescent and other nearby streets. Parking is limited to a maximum of four hours. You will have to pay up front at one of the meters, and you can move your car at lunchtime. Please be careful not to park in a bay designated for permit holders only.
