Professor Javier Caceres, Head of the Genome Regulation Section at MRC HGU, has been elected to the Academia Europaea, which recognises scientists and scholars of international distinction for sustained academic excellence in their field through peer nominations. Professor Caceres was nominated in recognition of his contributions to the field of RNA biology.
