Researcher Realities is a 1-day online event that features 4 sessions in relation to researcher careers, funding, interdisciplinary collaborations, and being a PI. Researchers of different career stages will be sharing their career journeys and experiences with the aim to create more visibility for the complexities and realities of researchers’ daily work beyond outputs.
Programme - Tuesday 30th May 2023
SESSION 1 |
RESEARCHER CAREER JOURNEYS |
TIME |
09:20 - 11:00 |
DESCRIPTION |
Researcher careers allow you to take a deep dive into topics, sources, methodologies, and challenges that interest you. Such career paths can be challenging in terms of personal circumstances, work stability, progression pathways, and recognition. This session offers the opportunity to gain insight into the different paths researcher careers can take and what questions, motivations and challenges are informing researcher career journeys |
