The first University of Edinburgh Learning and Teaching Conference was on Wednesday 20th June 2018 at the John MacIntyre Conference Centre, Pollock Halls of Residence.
We were delighted to be joined by two keynote speakers:
- Prof Amy B M Tsui, University of Hong Kong. Transforming Student Learning: the journey of a university-wide curriculum reform.
- Dr Torgny Roxå, Lund University, Sweden. Strong and weak ties – changing teaching cultures in higher education

Colleagues from around the University of Edinburgh delivered a variety of engaging parallel sessions throughout the day.
The theme for the conference was Inspiring Learning and there were six subthemes:
