Festival of Creative Learning

Funding to run a small or large scale Festival of Creative Learning Pop-up event or project.

The IAD Action Fund (including Festival of Creative Learning Pop-Ups) is not accepting applications for funding at the moment.

The Festival of Creative Learning is a year-long series of events focusing on creative learning and innovation at the University of Edinburgh. Both staff and students are invited to apply to run events with the Festival.

The aims of the Festival are to support applicants to:

  • gain new skills and broaden mindsets
  • develop creative learning practices
  • explore the definitions of innovation and creativity and how they can be further embedded into the learning experience
  • effectively design and deliver innovative and creative events
  • forge meaningful and interesting collaborations and learning communities
  • use resources and knowledge to enhance our local and global community

Funding to run a small scale Festival of Creative Learning Pop-up event

You can apply for up to £500 to support an event throughout the academic year.  For more information and to apply, go directly to the Festival of Creative Learning website. (See link below.)

Deadline: Applications for small scale Festival of Creative Learning Pop-ups may be submitted throughout the academic year.

Funding to run a large scale Festival of Creative Learning Pop-up event

You can apply for up to £3000 via the 'Festival Big Grant' which is accessed via the IAD Action Fund Regular Grant scheme. Please complete the Action Fund Regular Grant online application form, and indicate you are applying for a Festival Big Grant.

Deadline: Monday 7th October, 5pm
