About the IAD Action Fund and its aims.
This scheme is open to University of Edinburgh staff and students.
You can apply for funding to develop and support your academic networks and communities and/or test ideas for creative learning activities. We will fund projects which support the professional and personal development of groups of students, researchers and academics at every stage of their career.
People can apply to run projects aimed at their own peer group or run collaborative events and projects to involve people at different points in their career.
Project proposals should have an internal (to the University) rather than external focus and demonstrate a clear benefit to University staff and students.

There are two levels of funding available.
Small grants can be for up to a maximum of £500. You can apply at any point during the academic year
You can apply to up to a maximum of £3000. Application deadline in October. The next deadline is 16 October 2017.
University of Edinburgh staff and students can apply to more than one IAD-supported scheme at a time.
You may also be interested in the Festival of Creative Learning or Principal’s Teaching Award Scheme, particularly if there is scope to enhance learning and teaching (undergraduate or postgraduate) in your area.
