The University has published new sets of Teaching Continuity and Assessment Continuity Preparation web pages.

Teaching continuity preparation

It is hoped colleagues thinking about remote teaching will find these useful:

It covers a core toolkit of learning technologies that will be useful for remote teaching, as well as tips for preparing to teach remotely.

Information Services will also be coordinating and advertising training around this core toolkit, available both online and face-to-face. More details will be provided from Information Services in due course.

Assessment continuity preparation

There is currently guidance on two alternatives:

  • An open-book assessment, with a 48 hour window for submission
  • An open-book assessment, available at the same time as the original exam but with an extra hour to allow for electronic submission.
