Pop-Up IAD for researchers

A new initiative for researchers at the University.

About the Pop-Up training from IAD

Although we've successfully moved most of our training provision online, we recognise that the current situation is making additional demands on the University's researchers. This led us to start the "Pop-Up IAD" on March 19th.

Since then we've run a regular series of events on topics which have particular resonance at the moment, including:

  • productivity,
  • resilience, and
  • time management.

Every session has a dedicated blog post with a recording of the session, supporting materials and useful links.

How to find out more and book: some of the sessions are bookable through the MyEd events booking section, and our usual channels, but others are open to all. The links for these open sessions are posted on our social media channels:

For doctoral researchers - https://twitter.com/IAD4PhD

Got ideas for other sessions we could run?

You can submit your ideas for future sessions to our Doctoral Programme on IAD.PhD@ed.ac.uk and for Research Staff on IAD.Researchers@ed.ac.uk

We're also developing a new stream of training by Research Staff for PhD researchers. If any research staff would like to be part of this, email sara.shinton@ed.ac.uk
