About the competition

The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition requires doctoral researchers to compete to deliver the best research presentation in just 3 minutes (and only one slide).
The University of Edinburgh has run a 3MT competition every year since 2013. Many of the University winners have gone on to do very well in the Universitas21 competition.
About the 2023 final
The University of Edinburgh Three Minute Thesis Competition took place on Wednesday 21st June at 2pm-4pm in the Informatics Forum.
