About the competition

Three Minute Thesis Logo

The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition requires doctoral researchers to compete to deliver the best research presentation in just 3 minutes (and only one slide).

The University of Edinburgh has run a 3MT competition every year since 2013. Many of the University winners have gone on to do very well in the Universitas21 competition.

About the 2022 final

The University of Edinburgh Three Minute Thesis Competition final took place on Thurs 23rd June.
