PINs

We usually use the term PIN, for numbers or patterns for locking our phones and similar devices.

Use PINs to protect all your mobile devices.

Our smartphones and tablet devices have access to all kinds of data that we must protect. For example:

  • access to all our work email
  • information about our most recent, and most frequent contacts
  • all kinds of data that could be mis-used against us

Use of a PIN on Apple iPhones and tablets also encrypts them. This means that noone can break open the phone and take out the storage device inside, to read our information.

Also we must not share smartphones and tablet devices. Other people's use of them, uses our own authentication details.
