Video transcript

This video will show the overview content type within EdWeb.

The overview content type is intended to be placed at the top of subsections of content, and provides automatic navigation onto the pages on the level below.

The overview content type dynamically completes these information boxes based on the pages below, so can quickly build quality navigational pages within your site.

In editing the “overview” page, you must first provide a summary of this subsection which is used on overview pages on the levels above. You also have the option to add content at the top of your overview page, in the “subsection overview content” filed; you can also add content at the bottom of your overview page in the “additional overview content” field.

In the centre of the overview page are the dynamically completing boxes which show pages on the level below this one in your site’s structure. You can dictate the number of boxes that complete, along with the styling of those boxes which allows you to give added prominence to important pages in your site.
