Demonstrating EdWeb

Contact EdWeb demo

Demonstrative contact details for the University Website Programme. This also shows navigation behaviour for a hidden page.

Every time you create a new homepage, you should set a contact page to be associated with the site, located via the 'Contact us' button.

This page should be hidden in navigation, to avoid multiple links to the same location (the contact button is persistent throughout the site and should be the only route to contact).

However, it does appear in the navigation once the page is selected (as you can see with this page).

What do contact pages look like?

Contact pages are generic pages using the contact asset. There are a variety of different fields in the contact asset, but don't use more fields than are necessary.

You can also use forms as contact pages.

Hidden page

Your contact page should always be hidden in navigation. Note that while you are looking at this page, it can be seen in the navigation menu, but disappears again when you visit any other page. The contact page can always be reached via the 'Contact us' button.
