Information for Course Organisers

Resource Lists are the Library's preferred route to manage the provision of library materials for teaching. Resource Lists provide students with a consistent way to access their key readings via their Learn courses. Help is provided by the Library to set up and review lists.

Resource Lists Deadlines 2024/25

Course Organisers, send your Resource Lists for Semester 1 2024/25 to the Library by Monday 1 July 2024. Course Organisers can still send their lists to the Library after the deadline but  the Library will prioritise work on lists received by the deadline. For help and support contact

New User Interface June 2024

The look and feel of Resource Lists will change in early June 2024.  This is the first significant change to the user interface since the launch of the reading list system, Leganto, in 2015.  All the features you expect to see are still available and the Resource Lists service will stay the same. No action is required from Course Organisers. Watch this short video for an introduction to the new user interface.

About Resource Lists

The Resource Lists service provides online reading lists for students. Course Organisers use Resource Lists to manage the provision of materials for teaching.

Using Resource Lists

Course Organisers are encouraged to set up and update their Resource Lists and send them to the Library to review. There are checklists to help you provide the Library with the information we need to provide materials for teaching in 2023/24. The Library will set up new lists on request.
