Information about accessing Pure

How to get access to Pure and request a profile

Access to Pure is available to academic staff, non-academic staff, visiting and honorary staff, postgraduate research students and research administration staff.

Logging in to Pure

Log in to Pure with your University Login (formerly EASE) using your University UUN and password.

Log in to Pure

Students who also have Pure staff accounts, please make sure that you use your student number and password. If you are already authenticated to any University service with your staff username and password, you will need to log out and then re-log in using your student number and password.

Staff who have moved to an honorary post in the University may not have access to their staff UUN and so cannot log in to Pure using this UUN. Please contact your School IT department to check which UUN should be used.

To log out from your University Login, please go to the University Login page.

Personal User Overview

After logging in, the personal user overview page is usually the first screen you will see. It presents a summary of your research profile, helping you to access, explore and add your content to Pure.

Use our guides below to familiarise yourself with the personal user overview page for staff and students.
