COVID-19 fast track Open Access publication

If you are a COVID-19 researcher at UoE then the Library will help you publish your work open access so that it is immediately available to the world.

We have noticed that some publishers have given temporary access to additional e-books and other e-resources whilst the crisis is on-going however this is not enough. There will almost certainly be another outbreak of coronaviruses like MERS-CoV or SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2 and any research that could help needs to be permanantly open access.
Please contact the Scholarly Communications Team and we will arrange for your article to be made open access via the quickest route possible. If appropriate, we will cover any reasonable open access publication charges regardless of whether you have access to funding or not. If you are funded by a research council or medical charity we will ensure that you are compliant with their open access policies.
