About the University Collections Facility
The University Collections Facility (UCF) is the University’s off-campus storage facility, housing a wide range of general and research collections.
Material can be requested and delivered to the Main Library or a site library. Arrangements to visit the UCF can also be made.

All students and staff can request items from the University Collections Facility to support their learning, teaching and research.
Special Collections, University Archives and Lothian Health Services Archive
Selected material from the Library’s Special Collections, University Archives and Lothian Health Services Archive (LHSA) are stored in the UCF, in environmentally controlled conditions.
