There are various services providing library help and support.
EdHelp provides Library help and also help with enquiries regarding Student Finance, IT Support and Student Administration. This service is available to University of Edinburgh staff, students and alumni online via the EdHelp portal. You can also visit EdHelp on-campus at all our library Helpdesks from June 1st. There are Library helpdesks at each of our library sites. This service is available to University of Edinburgh staff, students, alumni and all other users.

Please note that in the evenings and weekends, the Library Chat service will be handled by a Librarian from a different University.

We are using information about you because we have a legitimate interest in processing your enquiry as effectively as possible.

The IS Helpline and NorMAN Out-of-Hours service combine to provide 24-hour support.
British Sign Language support
A video relay service is available, enabling British Sign Language users to contact public bodies and vice-versa.
This service operates from 8am to 12 midnight, 7 days a week.
