Out of hours help
Please note that outside of staffed hours you can use our Ask a Librarian chat widget to get a faster response. Your online chat equiry will be handled by a Librarian from a different University through a partnership with OCLC.
The Ask a Librarian service is available Monday-Friday 8pm-9am and weekends 5pm-12noon during semester time.

The University uses two external companies, OCLC and Springshare, to host our chat services on the University’s behalf.
We are using information about you because we have a legitimate interest in processing your enquiry as effectively as possible.

British Sign Language support
A video relay service is available, enabling British Sign Language users to contact public bodies and vice-versa.
This service operates from 8am to 12 midnight, 7 days a week.
