What does "Find it in Library" mean?

The "Find it in Library" link allows you to see information on the location and availability of physical (print) items held in the Library's collections.

Click on the "Find it in Library" link to find out how many copies there are in stock and where to locate them in the Library, plus information about whether they are currently out on loan or on the shelves.

You can also request an item that is out on loan or if it is held at the Library Annexe. You must be signed into DiscoverEd before the request options will appear.

Note: HUB Reserve and Reserve items cannot be requested.

If the item is a journal you can also find out the years/volumes that are available in the Library.

"Online Access" or "Full text available"

When the Library has access to the item(s) you have found in DiscoverEd online e.g. e-book, ejournal, etc., then a "View Online" link will appear for the item(s).

The "Find it in Library" link will also sometimes appear in these records. You can click on this link to see if the Library has the physical (print) copy of the item you are looking for.
