What does "Available in the Library" mean?

The "Available in the Library" option allows you to see items that are available on the shelf at that time. This will not include items that are on loan (checked out).

On the"Refine my results" menu to the left of your search results list there is an option to show only items "Available in the Library".

If you click on this link it will allow you to see the items, related to your search, that are available on the shelf at that time i.e. are not on loan. This will include books, journals, DVDs, CDs, music scores and more.

If an item is on loan it will not appear under "Available in the Library".

Some e-books and e-journals may appear if both the print and e-copy are held by the Library.
