Outreach and Conservation Taster Days

The conservation department has a strong outreach programme, which includes hosting volunteers, interns, and student placements from European conservation courses.

We also participate in teaching activities at the University, hosting sessions on conservation principles for the MSc History of the Book and MA History of Art programmes. Recent external events have included taking part in Book Week Scotland, Midlothian Science Festival and the Previously Festival.

Conservation Taster Days
