Media-based assessments

We support pre-recorded and live media assessment submissions.

The tools available to support media-based assessments are:

Collaborate Ultra (live presentations)

Blackboard Collaborate is the university supported virtual classroom/meeting tool which is available to all staff and students.

Media Hopper Create (pre-recorded videos)

Students can use Media Hopper Create to either upload a pre-prepared video file, or use the Kaltura Capture desktop recorder tool to create a presentation with any combination of their desktop, webcam, and microphone.  You can find information on using Media Hopper Create in Learn, including guidance for Creating a media assignment drop-box, on our page here:
