The Library Academic Support team delivers bespoke information literacy training to Schools across the University.
Informing our communities, informed by our collections
Teaching in a variety of settings including library tours, lectures and hands on workshops, the Library Academic Support Team aims to help students develop the skills that will enable them to be successful learners and researchers.
Academic Support Librarians also advise on and support the management and purchasing of print and digital resources in their subject areas, and their teaching is informed and enriched by these collections.
That means their information literacy training can be anything from showing students theological books from the fifteenth century to helping students develop a strategy for a systematic literature review of the latest medical research!
