Step 3: Receiving your card

If you haven't already done so, upload a photo via MyEd to help us get your card to you as soon as possible.

New Students 2023/24 Academic Year

Students in University Accommodation

Students starting their course in September 2023 and in University accommodation should collect their new card on arrival at their University accommodation from 9 September 2023. 

If students have submitted a photo before 29th August 2023 then the card should be printed and ready to collect at their University Accommodation from 9th September 2023. If you haven't already done so, upload a photo via MyEd.

Students are encouraged to check their Accommodation for their card. If your card is not at your Accommodation, please come to the Main Library.

Students in Private Accommodation

Students starting their course in September 2023 and in private accommodation should visit the Main Library to collect their new card. 

Online Distance Learner Students

Once printed, the card will be posted to your home address. Please note that as an Online Distance Learner it may not always be possible to deliver your card to you. We use Royal International Mail; so we are relying on your home country to complete delivery. We do not offer tracking or courier for card delivery.

We only post cards via mail service to Online Distance Learners or to students in exceptional circumstances. If you are requesting your card to be mailed out, please let us know why you are requesting this service via the contact form below.
