- Focussed resource for finding systematic reviews of the effectiveness of clinical interventions (Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews and Database of Reviews of Effectiveness).
- First stop resource for finding controlled trials (Cochrane Controlled Trials Register).
- Contains helpful information for researchers performing reviews.
Bear in mind ...
- If its narrow in scope can be considered a limitation, then it's worth pointing out that the systematic reviews are of controlled trials, and although it is possible to perform sound systematic literature reviews of other types of research / publications, those types of reviews are not included in the Cochrane Library.
