Purchase Mathematica
Mathematica, based on symbolic mathematics, is used in scientific, engineering, mathematical and other areas of technical computing.
Important information:
When ordering Mathematica licences you are required to commit to the full length of the current contract. On first ordering the price will be pro-rata until the annual renewal date on the 12th June, then you will be required to renew annually until the licence contract us up for renewal, you can only cancel licences during the contract renewal.
Our current contract runs to 12th June 2024.
Subscribing schools
Staff and students within the following schools are already permitted use of Mathematica on University Managed computers and also a single installation on a personal computer.
- School of Biological Sciences (for School of Biological Sciences please contact your IT Support for details.)
- School of Economics
- School of Engineering
- School of Mathematics
- School of Physics and Astronomy
Non-subscribing schools
Users in Non-Subscribing schools can purchase Mathematica licences via Software Services Team. Please note orders will need to be made through your department.
