EdPrintPull (follow-me) printing
General
EdPrintPull (follow-me) is the University's 'pull print service', i.e. a service where your print job is sent to and held on a central server and can be released by you at any printing device which supports this feature. In that sense, your print jobs 'follow' you wherever you are on campus.
You have 24 hours to release your print jobs on any of the devices on campus before they are automatically deleted.

- View and export your print and transaction histories

For full details, please see the myPrint user documentation page.

Your print job appears twice as it gets routed through two print servers.

Yes, if you'd prefer to see only your print jobs that you have released at an EdPrint MFP.
- Click the Filter on button at the top-left of the table.
- Type 'Release' into the Printer/Device Group box and select Type:ReleaseQueue.
- Click Apply Filter.
You can only request a refund of your Personal Cash print credit when you leave the University
------------------------------
Scanning
'Scan to Email' uses the University's email service, which has to limit the size of an email that can be sent, including any attachments.
If you are scanning a large number of pages at once and use the the maximum quality scan settings, you may be find that your scanned job fails to send.
No notification of this failure can appear on the multifunction device's display, but a failure-to-send report will be printed out.
Workarounds
- Scan in smaller batches of pages instead of large numbers of pages at once.
- Use the default scan settings, which will produce smaller PDF attachments
To avoid accidentally sending your data to the wrong recipient the destination email address can't be changed in the scanning options.
Instead, scan to your University email address and then forward on from there if required.
