Using SMS text messaging

The SMS text messaging service is used via a web interface.

Using Text Anywhere

From 1st August 2020 the text messaging service will use Text Anywhere.  You can login to Text Anywhere using your username and password at:

https://textanywhere.textapp.net/

Text Anywhere offers the following functionality:

  • Send messages to any mobile number or group of numbers.
  • Send messages to a group of users imported from a CSV file.
  • Personalise group texts by including information such as the recipient's name, or an appointment time.
  • Schedule messages to be sent at a specified time.
  • Receive replies to your messages through your dedicated Text Anywhere inbox or to an email address.

If you have previously used ConnectTxt, you will need a new account to access Text Anywhere.   To request a Text Anywhere account, contact the IS Helpline.

GDPR and Privacy
