University datasets are accessed through one of our BI tools and cover all aspects of University administration. The table below highlights some of the most used datasets and their Data Owner.

When to contact BusinessObjects content providers

You will need to request access directly from the relevant content provider - see the table above. If they approve your request for access, a BusinessObjects user account will be set up for you. When you log in, click on Folders > Public Folders to see the list of standard official reports you have been authorised to view.

Contact the content provider directly, if you: 

  • Have questions about what reports are available from them
  • If you want to request changes to your access permissions
  • Report a problem with a report or data they have provided
  • If you want to request a new report or customisations to existing reports they provide

Note that while you are welcome to contact the IS Helpdesk with your query, it will be routed to the appropriate content partner for processing. While ISG manages the BusinessObjects software platform, it does not process or authorise requests for access to student, admissions, and financial data - nor can it offer support for those reports.
