Support is available 08:30 – 17:45 Monday to Friday during term time; 08:30 – 16:30 outside of term time.  Details of Semester dates can be found here.

Which rooms do we support?

Learning Spaces Technology look after centrally managed teaching spaces across the University estate, a full list can be found here.

How do you report a problem?

Our AV Service Desk can be contacted via our helpline 504097 or by email learningspacestechnology@ed.ac.uk. Most of our teaching spaces have phones installed with our contact number on it or you can press hotkey 2 to be put directly through to us.  Please call 0131 650 4097 if you need to use your mobile.

What support do we offer?

We provide technical support for the technology within the room and offer a three-tier support system:

Level 1 We aim to resolve most problems either remotely or via telephone.

Level 2 A member of the team will come out to assist you if the issue cannot be resolved remotely.

Level 3 Occasionally, we may need our maintenance team to attend if there is a major equipment fault.  In this instance temporary kit or a workaround will be put in place or timetabling are notified and the room may be temporarily unavailable.

Should you experience a problem logging into the PC, using software or Learn please contact the IS Helpline on 515151.
