The Corporate Division, together with the Directors of the other Divisions within IS, are involved in the production of Strategic Plans, Annual Plans and Annual Reports for the Information Services Group.
Strategic Plan 2016-2019
We produce a revised plan annually for the University. The most recent version is the Information Services' Strategic Plan 2016-2019.
The current draft IT Strategy is intended to give a high level framework which can be used within the University to guide decision making over the next 3 to 5 years. The aim puts the user experience at the heart of the strategy rather than the technology.
Research Computing Strategy 2008
The current Research Computing Strategy 2008 was formulated by a high level strategic committee (IT Committee reporting to the Knowledge Strategy Committee) following a recommendation in the report from IT & Computing Review and is reviewed and revised regularly.
Library Collection Review
An externally-lead review in to how to best achieve a balanced collection across the University, within available resources.
Help and Support Review
The review examined the existing help and support services across IS alongside those offered by Schools, and put forward recommendations on how IT, Library, eLearning and AV help services might be reconfigured to maximum effect.
Learning Technology Strategy
The current Technology Enhanced Learning strategy document 2014-2017. This final draft is now ready for wider consultation with College Deans and Senior Managers.
