Edinburgh DataShare - Get your data cited!

The Data Library is pleased to announce that Edinburgh DataShare, the University repository for research data, has been selected by Thomson-Reuters to be indexed in the new Data Citation Index.

Researchers familiar with Thomson-Reuters Web of Knowledge platform know the value of getting their research outputs indexed.

Data Citation Index

According to Thomson-Reuters, the new Data Citation Index will:

• enable the discovery of data repositories, data studies and data sets in the context of traditional literature
• help researchers find data sets and studies and track the full impact of their research output
• provide expanded measurement of researcher and institutional research output and assessment
• facilitate more accurate and comprehensive bibliometric analyses
