Clinical trials data added to Edinburgh DataShare

To coincide with Open Access Week 2010 we are pleased to report that a further open access deposit has recently been made to Edinburgh DataShare, the digital repository of multi-disciplinary research datasets produced at the University of Edinburgh, hosted by the Data Library.

This most recent submission comprises data and documentation from the International Stroke Trial (IST). The IST, conducted by the International Stroke Trial Collaborative Group and led by Prof Peter Sandercock of the University’s Dept of Clinical Neurosciences, was one of the biggest randomised trials in acute stroke.

The dataset and documentation may be accessed from the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit collection within the School of Molecular and Clinical Medicine community on the DataShare website:
