The EA team lead and co-ordinate the creation, maintenance and use of architectural resources and standards, in order to simplify the integration of IT systems, reduce development and maintenance costs and reduce redundancy in systems provision.  We work with colleagues in IS, colleges and business units to align IT and business planning.

Architectural resources may include data definitions and data models to ensure consistent understanding of what data means and to allow effective decision-making from operational levels to strategic levels.  Resources also include reference architectures and development standards that guide IT projects and procurements to provide easy-to-use and integrated user service, reduce integration costs and reduce duplication of systems provision.

We offer consultancy and advice on any matters concerning system integration and data integration.
