Celebrating Scottish living artists

In celebration of the Jacqueline Donachie exhibition, currently on display at The Fruitmarket Gallery, this free collaborative event between the University’s Wikimedian in Residence, Centre for Design Informatics, and The Fruitmarket Gallery will give participants a chance to shape the Wikipedia pages of some of Scotland’s most prominent living artists.

Participants will receive a tour of the exhibition, training on how to edit Wikipedia pages, and access to materials from the libraries of The Fruitmarket Gallery and Edinburgh College of Art.

We hope you can join us and help us work towards making Scotland’s vibrant art scene adequately reflected on Wikipedia.

Please book a place, and create a Wikipedia account in advance (it only take two minutes).

Tea and coffee will be provided.  Please bring your own laptop and lunch.
