Lunchtime Seminar January 26 2023 - Hear about the HR Data Feed for Schools

The Applications Directorate run a programme of Lunchtime Seminars to update colleagues and share information on the work that we do and the services we provide.  On Thursday 26th January, we will hear about the exciting work being done on the 'HR Data Feed for Schools.'

The next Information Services Group (ISG) lunchtime seminar is scheduled for 1pm on Thursday 26th January, where we will hear about the exciting work being done on the 'HR Data Feed for Schools'.  This a hybrid event, so you have the option of attending in person or online. If coming in person, note that the venue is Meeting Rooms 6 and 7 in Argyle House. There will also be a free lunch before the presentation at 12.30, with the presentation starting at 1pm.  

This seminar offers a deep dive into an ongoing success story: the 'HR Data Feed for Schools'. This solution provides a curated feed of HR staff data to a School, which can be harnessed via an API, to support essential local HR processes. An overview of technical aspects of the solution will be presented, along with a look at key moments from the project which successfully delivered the feed. At its core, the HR Data Feed for Schools is a clear example of how ISG, HR, and College/School IT teams can work together to build solutions that meet the needs of Schools and business areas.
