The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic (ARRNC) is a charitable University of Edinburgh clinical research facility that delivers research and trials for people with neurodegenerative diseases, as well as hosting NHS Lothian specialist clinics for these conditions.

Designed and built within ISG, the Interactive Content team (Learning, Teaching and Web) worked closely with key ARRNC professionals to develop their new online presence.

Their recently launched website provides a fresh view of the clinical care and research they’re delivering to improve the lives of people with degenerative conditions affecting the brain including multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease (MND), Parkinson’s disease and early-onset dementias.

New features and improvements

Highlights of the new website include:

  • profiles of the Clinic staff and visiting NHS consultants
  • easy-to-access information about current research projects and trials
  • hear what it’s like to take part in our research from study participants
  • publications providing in-depth detail for those more scientifically minded
  • accessible on desktop, tablet or mobile devices.

By listening to the views of people living with neurodegenerative conditions throughout this project, we believe we have created a website that will help the public, people attending clinics and those taking part in research to better understand our work and our mission. We are part of a global effort to support new discoveries with the ultimate goal of discovering treatments and cures.
