Hope Park Counselling Centre System Procurement
A web based client management system has been procured to enable Hope Park Counselling Centre to manage their client care processes and data, student experience and research requests.
Hope Park Counselling Centre is the University's in-house counselling centre for the full time MCID (Masters in Counselling: Interpersonal Dialogue) students and the Professional Doctorate students in Psychotherapy and Counselling. The centre offers counselling to individuals aged sixteen and over living in the Edinburgh area, and is also a training and research centre that serves the local community.
The project completed a procurement exercise and following a successful evaluation, a contract was awarded to Sales Agility to supply their Suite Assured software to Hope Park. Suite Assured will replace Hope Park’s existing MS Access database which can no longer be effectively supported or developed.
The new system, once implemented, will bring many benefits including:
- A fully supported system, both internally and externally
- Compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Improved backup of data using a cloud based solution
- Reduction in use of paper based processes and records
- Enhanced reporting tools
- Single views of client correspondence and counsellor records
- System based audit trail
A project is now underway to implement the software, with the intention that Hope Park begin to use Suite Assured from March 2019.
