Our Postgraduate Open Day on Wednesday 16 November 2016 is an opportunity to find out more abou

t the University, get a feel for our vibrant postgraduate community and meet staff and current students.

For our existing students, it will provide the chance to explore opportunities for further study and research at postgraduate level.

Here are the degree programmes we offer at postgraduate level:

Taught MScs

We offer seven taught masters (MSc) programmes, in Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Design Informatics and Advanced Design Informatics.

Research degrees

Edinburgh is one of the best informatics research centres in the world. You can study for a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD), MSc by Research or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in a wide range of topics.

Combined research MScs and PhDs

The School of Informatics hosts three EPSRC Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs) which offer combined research MSc and PhD programmes in Data Science, Pervasive Parallelism, and Robotics and Autonomous Systems.

The CDT Data Science is also holding virtual open days on 9 November and 2 December, which you are welcome to join online.
