Tegola win NextGen Challenge 2011

Congratulations to all involved in the Tegola project for winning the NextGen Challenge 2011 prize for Rural Leadership and Community Development (in particular Peter Buneman, Mahesh Marina, Giacomo Bernardi and Alex Macmillan).

The NextGen Challenge aims to showcase the best in next generation digital access infrastructure innovation and gives companies the opportunity to highlight their achievements in developing and deploying better broadband.

We do many things in the course of our research that are productive and helpful outside academia but this one is particularly pleasing because it makes a real and immediate difference in "rural" Scotland, which is on our doorstep.
