Two ACL Fellows Announced

Bonnie Webber and Mark Steedman from the School of Informatics named as fellows of the Association of Computational Linguistics (ACL).

The Association for Computational Linguistics is the international scientific and professional society for people working on problems involving natural language and computation.

Bonnie Webber has been named for "significant contributions to discourse structure and discourse-based interpretation" .

Mark Steedman for "the development of Combinatory Categorial Grammar, and for significant contributions to grammar induction and parsing".
