Science Insights 2022 applications are now live for S5 pupils
Science Insights is an exciting work experience programme designed to give 5th year high school pupils a real insight into the work and life of research scientists.
Applications are now open for Science Insights 2022, the University of Edinburgh’s week-long work experience programme from 25 – 29 July 2022 for current S5 pupils interested in biological, biomedical and animal sciences. After two years of running online, we are planning to return to an in-person, on campus programme, hosted by research institutes at four of the University of Edinburgh’s five campuses.
We will be running an online information webinar for teachers and pupils on Thursday 24 March 4.30-5.15pm, which will include a chance to hear from two Science Insights alumni about their experiences on the programme, as well as Q&A with the Science Insights team. Teachers and high schools pupils are invited to sign up via Eventbrite, where they can submit questions ahead of the session, which will be recorded and added to our website.
Pupils can find more information about Science Insights and apply via the website www.scienceinsights.ed.ac.uk until 5pm on Monday 2 May. Pupils at high schools anywhere in Scotland can apply, but they need to be able to attend in-person sessions at the University of Edinburgh during Science Insights week.
