CIR PhD student through to the "Three Minute Thesis" competition final

April 2018: PhD student Phoebe Kirkwood will compete in the University of Edinburgh's TMT final.

On 16th April, CIR PhD student Phoebe Kirkwood took part in the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine heat of the University's "Thee Minute Thesis" competition.

Here, she had to present the research she is carring out as part of her PhD project in just 3 minutes to a lay audience.

Phoebe came second in the heat with her talk, titled "The Secrets of Scarless Healing",  and received a £75 prize. She will now go on to compete in the University final on Friday 22nd of June – Good luck, Phoebe!
