MRC CIR 2018 Trainee award for "Excellence in Public Engagement"

June 2018: The 2018 trainee award for "Excellence in Public Engagement" was presented to Lisa Kelly at the MRC Centre for Inflammation Research at the University of Edinburgh Away Day on 25th June 2018.

The 2018 MRC Centre for Inflammation Research at the University of Edinburgh Away Day was held on 26 June 2018 in David Hume Tower (George Square, Edinburgh).

At the event, the 2018 Trainee award for "Excellence in Public Engagement", with certificate and Amazon voucher, was presented to PhD student Lisa Kelly. Lisa has been very actively involved in the Centre’s public engagement activities throughout her studentship; helping to develop and deliver our Supercytes game and resource for schools, and being instrumental in helping to bring the Science Insight school work experience programme at the Little France site. 

Well done Lisa, and thanks to all those that have helped with our steadily increasing public engagement programme.
