Personal Profile  

Dr Jones read Natural Sciences at Christ’s College, Cambridge, where he graduated top of his pathology class. He then stayed at Christ’s to complete the Wellcome Trust Infection & Immunity MRes/PhD programme under the supervision of Professor Ian Brierley in the Department of Pathology. Throughout his time at Cambridge he supervised Part 1B Pathology undergraduates, predominantly for Gonville & Caius College. At Edinburgh, he was Course Organiser of the Global Challenges course at the Zhejiang University - University of Edinburgh (ZJE-UoE) international campus in Haining, China. Dr Jones currently supervises undergraduate and postgraduate projects. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
