Research

My work focusses on host response to infections and understanding ecosystem dynamics at the disease interface. This involves employing dry and wet lab experiments to help identify therapeutical options available for disease control.

I have concentrated on research works in veterinary molecular epidemiology, biomedical sciences to identify mechanisms of therapeutical agents, ecotoxicology and COVID-19 community health responses in resource limited settings.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine from Makerere University in 2014, and I graduated with an MSc in International Animal Health at the University of Edinburgh in 2018. I have worked in academia (biomedical sciences) and as a veterinarian while in Uganda.
