Information for sites

Cancer Research UK have been funding our research to study the genetic architecture of colorectal cancer for some time. We are now entering a new phase and The SCOTTY Study forms part of that endeavour. If you would like to support us or wish to contribute cases, please contact a member of our study team at scottystudy@ed.ac.uk.

Samples, analysis and data capture

Whole genome sequencing in family trios in which there are no affected individuals apart from the young proband is a novel area of investigation. You can learn more about the scientific methodology of SCOTTY here. Alternatively, you may contact a member of our study team at scottystudy@ed.ac.uk.

How to register a new site

The SCOTTY Study has been adopted by the NIHR UK Rare Genetic Disease Research Consortium under the Musketeers' Memorandum Agreement.
