Are You Ready to Talk? Are You Ready to Listen?

Are you ready to have big conversations about equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging at The University of Edinburgh?

This interactive 2 hour session, facilitated virtually by The Reverse Mentoring Practice, provides an opportunity for all colleagues working across the institution to discuss how the University community can be more inclusive so that everyone can thrive and feel valued.

The session aims to present attendees with provocations that will make space for you to share with colleagues some of the pressing issues for you that are related to your identity and make you reflect on how you can improve your cultural humility.

Developing a Culture of Positive Mental Health

An online session for managers and leaders to help you create and develop firm foundations for good staff mental health within your team or department.

The discussion will cover:

  • Understanding what mental health is.
  • Factors to develop psychological safety within teams.
  • Knowing your boundaries and limits.
  • How to look after yourself and take stock.
  • Strategies for maintaining a healthy workplace.

This session will be facilitated by Jackie Williams, a Consultant Trainer for Universities at the Charlie Waller Trust.
